Monthly: May 2023

MAY! My favorite month!! We had the BEST weather, it was truly magical. And also perfect timing since field trip season was upon us... the 2nd grade went to Zoo Boise - we had SO many parents volunteer to chaperone that my team of teachers just walked around together, it was so fun!

 

Carolina's GT class went to Wilson's Ponds and the fish hatchery where they released the trout they have been raising, Papa went with her as a volunteer.

Tumbling Recital day!

I love watching her do this - I may love it more than she does, but she's planning to continue next year.

Although she's been at Expressions for 6.5 years, they weren't consecutive, so she was happy to finally get her 5-Year Award.

 

The rule is ice cream after the recital (and I don't make the rules). It was the first time she's ever had a morning recital time, so we decided to make a Boise day of it - we checked out how high the Boise River was and went to Goody's.

The next day was Mother's Day, so this kind of doubled as that celebration :)

 

Sis hadn't had a hair cut since school began and she was anxious for one - and very happy with the results.
