Pip-Pip-Hooray!

Almost exactly like how we found Ripley, we found Pip. We weren't exactly planning to get a puppy, but we looked anyway and found "the one:... that was that - Pip Padfoot McConnel came home with us on August 4th. He was three months old, right around 4 lbs. of fluff, and was the sweetest little Pomeranian pup.

Since we hadn't been expecting to come home with a dog that day, his first trip was to Target to get all the puppy necessities!

Have you honestly ever seen Todd this happy?!

Or Carolina?!

We basically made her dreams come true with this little guy.

All the snuggles.

He did love his bed and racing around the backyard freely.
He didn't like being walked on a leash or riding in cars. He would start drooling heavily anytime he was in a car, and would throw up either in the car or as soon we we got home.

He found ways to get into some puppy trouble with leaves, rocks, sticks, etc.

If you notice that there is no Liam is these pictures, that is because he was gone on a church youth trip and had no idea Pip existed until he got home. I don't think Carolina minded having a baby all to herself for a few days.

This should give you a laugh, it certainly did for us! His first bath was an eye opening experience. He is a different animal when he's all wet!

"help"

He was fairly easy to potty train, very easy to sleep train, didn't bark much, and loved to chew bones, and play with one specific toy that had been Ripley's before. You would also think with all that fur he would shed like crazy, but he really hasn't!

He took a little while to get used to us, and vice versa - but he was and is SO much fun to have around. We've had him for almost 4 months now, he's gained a few pounds and some more fluff, we gained the cutest sweetest most fun pup.
We are officially obsessed.
If you couldn't tell.
