About: Sun Valley, Idaho

We needed a little getaway this fall and Sun Valley is always a good idea.

(well, other than in March when it was the epicenter of the pandemic in the U.S. - since then they have reopened and are VERY cautious).

We went with friends and enjoyed relaxing while the kids played, and we soaked in the absolute beauty of fall in the mountains.

And then, the next day we enjoyed the beauty of winter, when we woke up to a blanket of snow!

We went to the Lodge for breakfast (the kids got fancy hot chocolates) and walked around - it was freezing, but it was gorgeous.

Honestly it was such a refreshing trip, we were not ready to come home so soon.

Everyone was wearing a mask.

The day we left was the day they started making snow for the ski season - I didn't get a good picture of it, but this was Dollar Mountain, one of the ski hills that we were staying near.

With no copious amount of snow here in the valley, I'm very tempted to head back up to Sun Valley to enjoy some there.
