Monthly: September 2020 (Summer into Fall)

Wow September was PACKED - it still felt like we were getting into the groove of school/work for most of the month - I mean, when you take 6 months off... it makes sense. Our weather was still mostly very summery, and very very beautiful (other than those weeks of intense smoke from the west coast fires, which were terrible) and we did a lot of outdoor activities - tried to keep on top of our family walks, and had a few more swims in the pool.

Carolina really wanted to learn to sew, so we did that. She made a little quilt for her bunny. It was cute, and she had fun, but after that she wasn't eager to start another project.

Also, she does this.... tricks that make it look like someone else's body must be in the picture with her - but  it's just her weird contortionist tendencies.

Alice started soccer - the first game was your typical 3-year-old soccer game, ie. hilarious. But she has come a long say since then and she's playing so well, and even making goals.

Carolina started tumbling again - they are distanced inside and wear masks, but we are all just glad they are allowed to do it at all.
Liam chose orchestra - and the double bass one basically the last instrument left. It's good because it crosses over with the guitar nicely, but it's bad because IT IS ENORMOUS.

Whit started soccer and he's so much fun to watch - it's really impressive how well his team plays!

We had a few cooler days, especially when the sky was dark with smoke, that plus finding these cute pumpkin break bowls - and I was inspired to make squash soup, and it was seriously soooo delicious.

Idaho sunsets...

The MOST perfect Boise day

And the best part about September - the Farmstead reopened! We bought season passes again, and had such a fun family day!
