Monthly: February 2020
We are only 4 days into March but February feels like forever ago. (UPDATE: This now feels like a lifetime ago that I typed this... and so much as has changed and is ironic about what I had to say...)
We are currently in between Carolina's strep throat, Todd and Liam's stomach bug, and my cold or allergies or whatever this is - and the last 4 days have felt like a month.
But February was SUPER busy - like, wouldn't surprise me if it ends up being the busiest month we have this year... there were lots of extras... weekend activities... appointments... school events, plus the usualness of Bachelor-Church-Tumbling-Guitar-Church-Repeat. The highlight of the month was the Super Bowl - Todd's team the Chiefs made it in and won! It was touch and go... for Todd's heart... but it was a very exciting time in the end! The next weekend we had an Oscar's party and then after that a Sunday School class party... it felt like a lot, but maybe that was good for us since February is basically the armpit of the whole year.
Carolina still loves tumbling - for her recital they are doing "Zero to Hero" with the one boy in their class as Hercules. She is excited to get to rehearsal every Thursday!
Liam started guitar lessons because there was apparently some confusion/miscommunication over if he was going to do basketball again this winter.... so he isn't, but guitar it is! His teacher says he's picking it up fast! I don't think he really enjoys it, but I would also say that he doesn't really like anything that takes extended practice/work/effort, so this is character building for him!
He looks so grown up here...
