Weekly: October 24-31 Halloween!

Well now my schedule is all off, we are starting up with the last week of October, right after we got back from NYC. The week went by in a haze, although thankfully we weren't as exhausted as we could've been. These two sweet faces we had missed so much!

Funny enough, Todd and I had bought Lion King tickets like a year ago and it just so happened to be the same week of New York, so... we went to a fourth Broadway show that week...

On the weekend we had some beautiful weather and wanted to get out and do something with the kids that we'd missed so much, so we went to Boise for a nice hike!

 We hiked Camel's Back in the summer but wanted to do it in the fall to see all the colors, and we were not disappointed. 

 

 And then you know we needed coffee so we found a new place in Garden City - it was really good!

And then it was Halloween - we sort of (definitely) left the costume/theme deciding to the last minute, but thankfully we finally could agree on Harry Potter - perfect timing since Todd just finished reading book 2 to Liam and since then he has not stopped reading them - he just started book 5 and is loving them (keep in mind it's only been a week)! 

This year we decided to sign up for our church Trunk or Treat event for the neighborhood and this is what I came up with... if you get it, you get it - if you don't, you don't.

But honestly I was pretty dang proud of it

Oh and here's Ripley's Halloween costume which she hates so much :)
