November - the middle

We kicked off the pre-Thanksgiving-Christmas-season with the Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith Christmas concert - it was so fun and nostalgic, it really made it feel like Christmas!
It was a good week of school before break, but man on Friday afternoon I was ready to get out of there ASAP. GG & Aunt Tessa arrived that evening and we ran errands until it was time to go see them quickly before bedtime.
On Monday, our first day of break, we celebrated by heading to Boise in the morning for doughnuts and a trip to the capitol building with mom and Tessa - we got super lucky with the timing because it just so happened that they were delivering and setting up the Capitol Christmas tree while we were there. It was so fun to watch!
(the trees on the left are in the park out front, the tree on the right is the Christmas tree that they are lowering down)
We headed over to run a quick errand at the mall and found a familiar face! And there wasn't even a line :) There is a certain little girl missing from this picture because she still hasn't changed her tune where Santa is concerned.
GG took us out to dinner and Carolina kept us all very entertained.

Once again I'm behind on updates... I think I'll have to give up caring and just be glad that I got it done at all! Last week was a great one, lots of laziness, sleeping in, and too much good food. It's always good to spend time with our GG and Aunt Tessa.
