Getting ready for Halloween!

We had a family pumpkin carving get together - plus dinner and dessert - at Jen and Grant's house. They won't be here on Halloween, so we were glad for the invite to do this together! 

Mom & Dad did a kitty, Jen and Grant did an adorable Mickey, but Liam decided on a Jack Skellington for our pumpkin, and Todd was all over that. We spent $10 on a William Sonoma pumpkin carving kit - and it was money well spent! The tools worked so well everybody ended up using them. 

Mom brought little pumpkins and Sharpies for the kids to decorate while we carved. Liam was done in about 5 seconds, but Lina spent some time on hers.

The kids would say only 2 more sleeps! (But I'm saying 3 more sleeps... till I can officially turn on the Christmas!)
