Pool Time!

Although now the weather has cooled off to 70's again - we had a good stretch of days in the 80's and 90's - and we got in quite a few swims! I LOVE THE POOL! It feels like summer, it's so relaxing, and fun, and refreshing on hot days! Liam has basically picked up where he left off, swimming all over the place and jumping in - he loves jumping in with the big boys - I need to get a picture of it! Carolina has totally adapted to swimming with water wings - she kicks and gets herself where she wants to go - she spins around and around - she says "I jump" and sort of jumps/steps on the step. She loves laying in the beach entrance. She is a total water baby. She'll stay in the pool happily for quite a long time, over an hour - Liam never lasted that long at this age! I'm so happy both kids are so fond of the water - it's going to make our summer so much fun. 

We are going to work with Liam this summer on using goggles to swim underwater - but so far Carolina seems more interested in the goggles than Liam. Both kids already tore up their feet on the pool bottom - we took care of it by getting some water shoes for Liam, but apparently they don't make them in tiny Carolina sizes - I'm also looking for a little rash guard for her, you'd think such things would be easier to find in a hot place, approaching summer time...
