Liam v. Carolina

Along with spacing my blogiversary, I also just skipped right over Carolina's 15 month birthday (and 14th, and 13th... I guess after 12, it kinda gets less exciting). That, plus I'm already feeling sappy about Liam's 4th birthday in a couple of weeks. While doing some reminiscing I found some pictures that just show how much these kids look alike (or did at the same age).

 Well anyway, I thought it would be fun to do a Carolina update and also do a comparison of Liam at 15 months too. I love this kind of stuff...

Size @ 15 months:

Liam - he was just out of 12 months and into 18 month clothes, and a size 5 shoe

Lina - she's in the same clothes size, but still a size 3 shoe (momma's feet I think)

Teeth @ 15 months: 

Liam - had 4 top and 2 bottom fully grown in

Lina - has 2 top and 1 bottom that have just barely popped out

Getting around @ 15 months:

Liam - walking well, not climbing

Lina - walking well also (think she started a little earlier), climbing on ev-er-y-thing

Talking @ 15 months:

Liam - saying a few words, and uh-huh, and uh-uh

Lina - saying lots of words - including short sentences like "what's this", "what's that", "go read a book", and sooo expresive

Getting into stuff @ 15 months:

Liam - liked playing in the toilet, pulling stuff out of mommy's purse, and pulling cookbooks off the shelf, but really didn't get into too much mischief

Lina - loves playing in the toilet, pulling stuff out of mommy's purse, and anything and everything else she can get her hands (and feet) on!!

Favorite things @ 15 months:

Liam - he loved cars (and yet...), horses, being read to, sand/rocks, being outdoors

Lina - she loves books (but not really being read to), the computer, everything in the kitchen cupboards/pantry, her bunny, remotes/phones/ipads/other stuff she's not supposed to touch

Disposition @ 15 months:

Liam - such a sweet cuddly little boy, but he was certainly a fussier baby, he needed his paci a lot of the time, and needed lots of sleep

Lina - she is also such a sweetie, and a happier, less fussy baby, really only needs a paci at night, but when she's not feeling good she is the unhappiest baby

Sleep @ 15 months:

Liam - he would take 2 naps a day, 2-4 hours each, and then sleep another 12+ hours at night - would wake up and talk or sing to himself for a long time before he was ready to get out of bed

Lina - she takes 1-2 naps a day, 1-2 hours each, and sleeps 11-12 hours a night - will wake up and talk for a little while before she starts yelling

Eating @ 15 months:

Liam - we were still feeding mostly jars of baby food, snacks, and oatmeal at this point (oh, so dumb), he could feed himself with a spoon, but he frequently choked on his food and puked; he was a very neat and clean eater.

Lina - she eats pretty much anything and a lot of it, although she does have her favorites, she rarely chokes on something, but when she does she always get's it figured out, we haven't been letting her use a spoon because she's SO MESSY... well with or without she's a mess, but with her own spoon it's worse, oh also she appears to be allergic to garlic

 I see a resemblance, don't you?!
