Quick Weekend

The weekend went way too fast, without it really feeling like I did enough! We were pretty busy though - Todd's dad had his second knee replacement surgery (praying for no heart complications this time!), so we went to visit him Friday at the hospital, then went to Cracker Barrel together; pancakes are about the only thing we can get Liam to eat without any sort of battle. Ran some errands on Saturday and took the kids to the park - which didn't last long because Lina couldn't walk in those boots and then was crawling around eating sand :p
That night we had our "fall activity day" (as Jen dubbed it) - she brought us caramel apple cider to drink on our way to Linder Farms. It's a very cool (but very busy) farm that has a huge pumpkin patch, corn maze, petting zoo, kiddie train, hayride, and lots more. It was fun, and the kids loved the animals especially, but it was colder and windier than we can banked on. Afterward we went back to our house to watch "The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and carve our own pumpkins.
Sunday we relaxed a bit, went to visit Steve again, and mostly tried to catch up chores before the week started up again. Although I did have time to make snickerdoodles, Disneyland's recipe, but that's for later ;)
