I'm a winner!
Yep, I won this so cute diaper bag from the Babes in Disneyland blog that I follow. She's always putting up giveaways, and unlike Pioneer Woman's giveaways, (where tens of thousands of people enter) this blog will have only a couple hundred entries. So I figure my odds are pretty good and enter for all of them. Well this is the one I wanted most since it's so cute, and kinda expensive, and I hate my old diaper bag. And it came today! I figured it would take a month or more - what a treat! I know posts have been few and far between, life has been hectic lately but should slow down now that we are on a normal schedule till spring break and I'm dropping my Tuesday night class, (as it's worthless in my opinion). Although, even with some extra time, I can't guarantee more posts since Liam is definitely taking a turn for the two-year-old and throwing quite a few tantrums, a typical one being "get the camera out of my face." But today I thought I'd try again and it paid off. A huge change for him is that he is branching out at mealtime. This last week he ate ramen noodles, mac 'n' cheese, and pizza - which, prior to, he would not touch. We still have a couple of jars of baby food around, but rarely has he eaten that lately, and I don't think he cares for the taste of it much now. I'm going to ride this wave and put anything we have in the house on his plate.
Here's the tree I had an NNU student paint on my wall in the front room, it took me long enough to get around to having it done, but she did a great job and I LoVe it. It makes me want more paintings like this in my house. I might need to rearrange some furniture and put a chair or bench under the tree, that'd be cuter, don't you think?
And while I sit here and blog, Todd watches soccer and Liam roars at me to get my attention... guess I better go :)
