Fun at the Farm...

Another busy week went by in a flash, and finally we have some true fall weather - 50's and rainy - we love it.
But thankfully before the weather turned, we went to visit Linder Farms. It's actually somebody's farm, but in the fall they turn their corn crop into fun!
The first stop was the corn box... Liam was kind of tentative about it at first. It didn't take long for him to warm up to it. A box of dried corn, what a good idea - and also not as messy as sand! It was a popular spot.
Then we took him to the petting zoo. There were goats, sheep, a calf, a pony, rabbits, pigs, a porcupine (not for petting), some wallabies, and a camel!
I think Liam liked the little goats most - he wasn't to afraid to feed them.
And liked the camel least... but he certainly remembers what a camel is.
This is my favorite picture from the day... just some big ol' tractor tires to play on.
There was a cute little barrel train going around, pulled by a tractor. Liam was not impressed, and didn't exactly want to ride on it (no, No, NO!), but we knew he would like it so Grandma took him fed him grapes until it started moving - then he was fine. (we feel more prepared for Dinseyland now)
We also went through a kiddie corn maze (well, really a hay bale maze) which Liam liked, and I only took video of. There were a few other things to do, mostly for older kids, so we made one for visit to the corn box before leaving.
Thanks Grandma and Papa for a fun time!

  1. Liam and Jesse Jay have so much in common. Jesse Jay was leary of that ride too. What camera do you use, because your photos always turn out spectacular!
