February Fun

This is what I do. I take pictures and write blogs in my head to go with them; I make mental lists of important and new things that Liam has done - things I want to tell you and things I want to write for my own sake, as this blog is essentially Liam's 'baby book'. But here I am, 3 weeks into February with that many days worth of things to say and *phpbbbt* (isn't that how they spell it in comics?) that I can remember.
Good thing SD cards don't forget.

Modeling his itty-bitty-adorable-dino-backpack, a birthday present I bought for him before he was born.

Awesome bedhead.

Liam has finally cut back to 2 naps - although he still fares better with 3, the kid needs his sleep.

Liam loooooves his snacks and his snack cup.
Loves them so much that this is what happens when he runs out.
Besides snacks, Liam is still really attached to his baby food, he turns up his nose to new foods, especially the kind that doesn't come in jars. He's happily transferred from formula to cows milk thankfully, but he still likes it in a bottle before bed :)
His best pal. We gave Liam crayons and color wonder markers for Valentine's - he's no Picasso, but he thinks it's funny.
Watching what was probably the last snow of the winter.
Liam is fascinated by the outdoors - he always is pointing outside and saying "huh?". Papa M is one of his favorite people because he takes him out to look at everything.Nana and Poppa K drove over for a last-minute visit over Valentine's weekend - yay!
Liam is such a sweetie at night, he gives hugs and kisses and gets really silly. He doesn't have a typical sleepy mode, he only has 'on' and 'off'... no winding down for him. Liam did lots of showing off with his new no-hands standing skills. We are eagerly awaiting that first step - any day now.
Poppa helping a sleepy Liam get his shoes on to go out.
What a happy little group - love it.
Lots of love.
We are so thankful that Poppa has recovered, and yes, enough to travel! He has lost a lot of muscle, and that's going to take a lot of time to get back we know. But the best new development is that he doesn't have dialysis any more. His blood is still being monitored but he can have his port taken out! Yay for him - he hated that thing!

Ok, that only took 2 hours - sheesh. But I already have the enxt post planned and it only has 3 pictures. Of course we are going to McCall this weekend, and hopefully I'll get some good pictures there too.
