The Greats...

Great Grandma finally got to come home from the hospital 8 days after she got here - praise the Lord that the doctors found the problem and were able to solve it easily - she recovered quickly, and it was high time for her to meet Miss Carolina. They were fast friends...

Carolina told great Grandma all her secrets...
And Great Grandma listened closely...

And then this is what happened...
Great Grandma has "the touch" - she calmed Carolina down immediately and kept her happy the whole time she was holding her. We wish we could keep her. But the Greats went back to Carolina's namesake this morning :(

Let's not forget about Great Grandpa - he had the touch too, truth be told. Carolina loved him, but he just let Great Grandma have a little more time with her... making up for all the time she missed in the hospital.


I can tell you with confidence that this little girl got spoiled with all the holding and rocking - she did not want to nap on her own today. Liam was a little more shy around his Grandparents... but he had warmed up by the end of the week for sure. We love our Great Grandparents! Thanks for coming to see us - we miss you already!
